The transfer of Nigeria international striker, Peter
Odemwingie from West Bromwich Albion to Cardiff is been investigated by the
Football Association (England FA).
Respected British Newspaper, the Daily Mail reports that
Odemwingie is embroiled in a legal dispute with Rob Segal, who represented him
in that September 2013 move, over the payment of agents' fees.
The Nigeria striker's subsequent January move to Stoke is
also part of the dispute.
The issue is now heading for an FA tribunal.
Albion have not yet commented on the matter but there is
absolutely no suggestion of any wrong-doing on their part.
Odemwingie was part of the Nigeria squad that reached the
round of 16 at the 2014 Fifa World Cup.
The forward who netted the Super Eagles’ winner against
Bosnia-Herzegovina in Brazil has been capped 65 times by Nigeria at the senior
level.
